This course is designed to help students develop behavioural self-management skills in the form of personal and interpersonal skills deemed critical to managerial and personal success. The focus will be on enhancing student ability in key skill areas such as: development of self-awareness, coping with stress, creative problem-solving, supportive communication, and influencing and motivating others.
Because this is an open entry course, you have some freedom to set your own pace for the reading of materials and preparation of assignments; however, to ensure sufficient time for necessary developmental feedback, the minimum required time to complete the course is 10 weeks.

The main purpose of this course is to provide students with a foundation of essential skills for managing and interacting with others in an organizational setting by first learning the fundamentals of behavioural self-management as it relates to one’s own personal context.
