This course is a general survey of perspectives and methods in selected areas of psychology including personality, social behaviour, human development, stress and coping and psychological disorders. Students will be asked to participate in various learning and research activities. Some course credit may be earned by participation in these activities.
This course is a prerequisite for many other more advanced courses in psychology. Video recordings will support your learning, while you complete the course at your own pace from the comfort of your own space. Optional bonus mark assignments will help you to explore your interests as you learn about psychology.

Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course. All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date.
The Final Exam for this course will be invigilated on an approved date using Respondus e-proctoring software (LockDown Browser and Monitor). This is a free tool provided with this course, a webcam is required. More information will be given once you have been registered.
