This is a core course for the Family Violence Issues Certificate Program at UNB but can be taken separately from the Certificate Program. The course examines issues pertaining to violence in religious families and the role of faith communities (and their leaders) in responding to violence in the family context. The course will consider relevant data, theories and strategies for change.
This course is cross listed as FVI 3007. Credit can only be obtained for one of FVI 3007 and SOCI 3007.
