Physiology and Pathophysiology for LPNs

This course provides a detailed review of normal human physiology and then focuses on the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying diseases in each organ system. It is a customized course to bridge LPN to BN content and includes fully recorded lectures and case-based NCLEX style assessments.

This course is online and only open to students in the Licensed Practical Nurse to Bachelor of Nursing Pathway program.

Prerequisite: Entry into LPN to BN Pathway Program

Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course. All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date.

Assignments and examinations

• Chapter quizzes (20% total)
• 2 x case studies (10% total)
• 2 x midterm exams (40% total)
• 1 x final exam (30% total)
