This is a core course for the Family Violence Issues Certificate Program at UNB but can be taken separately from the Certificate Program. The course will familiarize students with human trafficking and the many forms this crime takes, including sex trafficking, labour trafficking, domestic servitude, debt bondage, mail-order brides, baby factories, child soldiers, online trafficking and current laws and practices being used to combat these crimes.
This course is cross listed as FVI 2009 and SOCI 2009.
Credit can only be obtained for one of CRIM 2009, FVI 2009 or SOCI 2009.
