This course helps students become familiar with the nature of moral philosophy, some challenges to morality, some of the most influential moral theories and some contemporary moral issues concerning life and death - abortion, euthanasia, political violence, animal rights and world hunger. The course aims at removing common confusions about those issues and reaching reasonable conclusions about them.
