This course is the online version of the BIOL1001 lecture course. We start off the course by reviewing general cell features, then we explore fundamental biological principles starting at the molecular level and building up to a deeper understanding of the biological processes within cells that are essential for sustaining life.
NOTE: This course is designed for science students. Students intending to major in Biology must also take BIOL 1006. Credit will not be given for both BIOL 1001 and BIOL 1009.
