High school students will receive dedicated mentoring and tutoring at the Trojan Rugby House which is located adjacent to the Crescent Valley community.
Mentoring is a vital support system for high school students, offering academic and practical assistance with schoolwork such as projects and studying. Mentoring plays a crucial role in their personal and academic growth, helping them navigate adolescence and prepare for a successful future.
Snacks are provided at each session, and whenever possible, a few students will work with a student coordinator to develop culinary skills by preparing healthy snacks for their peers.
This program is the most flexible of Promise’s mentoring programs, adapting each night to the ideas and needs of the high school students. When they don’t have academic work, the focus shifts to creative projects inspired by their interests, with students playing a central role in shaping the direction of these activities.
Mentors work closely with them, providing support and guidance every step of the way. This adaptable approach ensures the program meets the evolving needs of this age group, creating a sustainable and impactful experience.
