The Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis (MABA) Program offered by the University of New Brunswick’s Department of Psychology is a professional course-based Master’s program in professional behaviour analysis.
The program’s mission is to produce proficient, compassionate, committed, and ethical practitioners and consultants who use a behaviour-analytic approach to find solutions to difficult or complex issues, inform their practice by staying current with research findings, and target socially valid and significant behaviours to change that improves the quality of life of those in their communities.
Our program meets the behaviour-analytic coursework requirements* for those pursuing the BCBA® pathway 2 eligibility route. See BACB® BCBA® certification to learn more.
The Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis program is currently not an accredited program. However, following the graduation of the first cohort of students (one of the eligibility requirements for program accreditation), the program intends on pursuing accreditation.
* Those pursuing certification through the BACB will be required to gain 1500 to 2000 hours of supervised fieldwork. The Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis Program does not provide supervised fieldwork hours; therefore, students must pursue supervised fieldwork independently during or after completing the program.
