In 1993, the Ivan C. Rand Memorial Lectureship was established at the UNB Faculty of Law. However, Mr. Justice Rand's close association with New Brunswick began much earlier than that, as reflected in his official biography prepared by the Supreme Court of Canada. Because of his special place in the history of both Canadian and New Brunswick law and jurisprudence, we have established this archive of materials by and about Mr. Justice Rand. Many of these items have never been published previously or were not widely distributed when they were produced.
