The Master of Arts in Sport & Recreation Studies program offers a thesis or an internship option.
The thesis option is for students who are interested in a research degree and provides an opportunity to study a specific area of interest in depth. Your research may be focused on program delivery, management techniques, planning and programming outcomes while exploring specific behaviours to sport, recreation and leisure activities.
The internship option is for students wanting the practical experience of working in the field and gaining real-world experience. This option provides four months of work experience in a sport or recreation organization in your field of interest such as management, volunteerism, planning or programming.
