Taking matters into your own hands

Our undergraduate program includes hands-on laboratory experiments from the beginning of the program all your skills are put to the test through several of our design courses.

Students can access labs and research centres such as:

• Materials surface characterization laboratory
• Limerick pulp and paper
• Nanotechnology
• UNB hydroprocessing laboratory
• Oil recovery laboratory
• Polymer laboratory

You will have the option to take part in our co-op program that will give you real-world work experience while you earn money for your education.

Why chemical engineering?

Chemical engineers improve our lives through the application of scientific and engineering knowledge. As a growing profession, chemical engineers are involved in the design and operation of industrial production facilities from producing affordable drugs to designing cleaner fuels.
