The Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) is a partnership between postsecondary institutions and Statistics Canada.

The goal of the DLI is to provide access to Canadian data resources through their collection of Public Use Microdata Files (PUMFs). The Harriet Irving Library provides access to Public User Microdata Files (PUMFs) for researchers who do not need access to master file data.

Find out more about PUMFs by contacting Data/GIS Librarian, Siobhan Hanratty hanratty@unb.ca.

The Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN) hosts events for researchers to learn, present their findings and more. Researchers can access their YouTube channel for recordings of previous events.

Statistics Canada’s YouTube channel is available for researchers to access for additional resources.
