While registration won’t be available at SOAR, students are encouraged to reach out to artsreg@unb.ca for course registration. Don’t miss this chance to prepare for your university experience!
Bachelor of Computer Science students and those in concurrent degree programs (Arts & CS or CS & Science) will get personalized academic advising and have the opportunity to register early for Fall 2025 & Winter 2026 classes. You'll meet some of your professors, and student leaders will be there to answer questions and lead tours of our building complex.
The Software Engineering program is offered jointly by the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Engineering. At SOAR, you will begin with the general Engineering group. However, there will be special sessions and tours just for the BSSWE students within the Faculty of Engineering’s SOAR programming. And you will have an opportunity to meet some faculty members from the Faculty of Computer Science as well.
Get a head start on your UNB Engineering journey at SOAR! During this afternoon event, you’ll meet faculty and current students, explore the different types of engineering you can study, and get a feel for what life is like in our tight-knit community. You’ll take part in program-specific info sessions, learn about co-op and innovation opportunities, and go on a guided tour of Head Hall — including labs and spaces where you'll learn, build, and create throughout your degree. Not sure what kind of engineering you want to take yet? You’re not alone — and this is the perfect place to start figuring that out. We’re excited to meet you!
The faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management will assist with registration for those who need it, offer a guided tour of the building to showcase our facilities and resources, and organize interactive outdoor activities to provide a hands-on experience of our programs.
