Join us for the Wabanaki Languages Gathering and celebration. This inclusive three day event centring on “carrying our languages forward” will celebrate, encourage, and bring together the community members, educators, policy makers, scholars, advocates, students, and aspiring speakers who are collectively doing the work all across this land of honouring, reclaiming and revitalizing Wabanaki language.
Our gathering will feature Mentorship and Youth plenary panels along with a series of workshops on curriculum development, storytelling, language rematriation, best practices for immersion and much more.
Whether you are a fluent speaker or just beginning to learn, the Wabanaki Languages Conference welcomes all who are passionate about language and cultural renewal.
