Join us for the Wabanaki Languages Gathering and celebration. This inclusive three day event centring on “youth carrying our languages forward” will celebrate, encourage, and bring together the community members, educators, policy makers, scholars, advocates, students, and aspiring speakers who are collectively doing the work all across this land of honouring, reclaiming and revitalizing Wabanaki language.
Our gathering will feature Musical performances by Jeremy Dutcher and Roger Paul, Youth plenary panels along with a series of workshops on curriculum development, storytelling, language rematriation, best practices for immersion and much more.
