The Bachelor of Integrated Studies (BIS) is designed for mature students who want to complete a university degree while balancing work, family and community commitments.
Offered in partnership with UNB’s Centre for Learning Futures, the BIS allows students to integrate previous post-secondary study, professional experience and new coursework into a flexible degree pathway. Through Prior Learning Assessment, transfer credits and courses that align with your goals, you may be closer to completing your degree than you think.
As part of the program, students complete a Certificate in Leadership Studies through the School of Leadership Studies. This adds a strong leadership foundation to your degree, helping you build skills in communication, ethical decision-making, problem-solving and working with others across complex environments.
The BIS is a strong option for students who are ready to return to learning, advance their careers or complete a long-standing personal goal without putting the rest of life on pause.
The Centre for Learning Futures manages BIS admissions, program details and application information.
