The software upgrade and hardware replacement for UNB’s internet networks (both Wi-Fi and wired) on the Fredericton campus has been completed. 

Original Details:

On Wednesday, October 2 from 9 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (2 hours), ITS will be performing a software upgrade and hardware replacement for UNB’s internet networks (both Wi-Fi and wired) on the Fredericton campus.  

During this period, UNB's Wi-Fi and wired networks will experience brief interruptions of up to 5 minutes. However, internet access within the RDC building and the NBIRDT department (Kierstead Hall, 4 Floor) will be unavailable for the duration of the upgrade (2 hours). If you require internet access, please use cellular data. 

In the case of an emergency within the Fredericton campus, please use a cell phone or pay phone to dial 9-1-1.  

Secure door access will not be impacted.
