The wired network maintenance in Singer Hall, Tilley Hall, and Carleton Hall has been successfully completed.

UNB’s wired network will be unavailable in Singer Hall, Tilley Hall, and Carleton Hall on Wednesday, September 18th from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (1 hour)

Wireless networks will remain operational. The estimated downtime for each building is 5-10 minutes.

As a result, all IT services may be unavailable in this location, including:

  • UNB’s wired networks (internet) 
  • Printing  
  • All Microsoft 365 services (Teams, email, OneDrive, etc.) 
  • VoIP telephone services (Teams Calling) 
  • UCard services (UCard Online, eAccounts app, gift deposits, photo upload)
  • Network drives (ex: J:, P:, H:) 
  • MyUNB Intranet access
  • Colleague access
  • Footprints (Request Tracking) 
  • All UNB webpages 
  • Cascade (CMS) 
  • D2L Brightspace 
  • Both UNB and non-UNB websites (Google, Facebook, etc.) 

No email or voicemail messages will be lost during the outage. All email and voicemail messages will be put in a queue and delivered when services are restored.

Secure door access will not be impacted, and mobile IDs will be accessible via the wallet.
