Apply to be an incoming exchange student at UNB

In order for you to come to the University of New Brunswick, you must fulfill two conditions: 

  1. Your home institution must be a partner of UNB.
  2. Your home university must nominate you to come to UNB, and we must accept the nomination. 

You can apply to study at UNB as an exchange student after your nomination is accepted.

Deadlines for nominations to UNB

When do you want to study at UNB? Nominations to UNB are due:

  • Fall term (September – December): March 1
  • Winter term (January - April): July 1
  • Summer term (May - August): Nov. 1

Fee-paying students

If the exchange balance between UNB and your home institution is not in balance, UNB may be able to accept you as fee-paying/direct enrolment student. You will pay the regular tuition fee as all our students pay, and a discount part of the extra fee charged to international students.
