UNB Law Journal Index, 1947–1987

University of New Brunswick Law Journal

First published in 1947, the University of New Brunswick Law Journal/Revue de droit de l'Université du Nouveau-Brunswick (UNBLJ/RDUNB) is one of the oldest student-run legal publications in Canada. It has a circulation of over 1,100 copies, with distribution to students and faculty, alumni, members of the bar, and law libraries worldwide.

UNBLJ is an annual refereed publication devoted to the consideration of current legal issues, problems, and philosophies through the presentation of articles, research notes, comments, and reviews. The journal is accessible by subscription and electronically in full text through the following databases:

The journal is also indexed in numerous legal and non-legal periodical indexes.

1947–1987 Cumulative Index

Prior to the journal's inclusion in standard periodical indexes, there was no systematic method of finding references to its contents. Thus, in 1988, the editorial board commissioned a cumulative index covering vols. 1–36 (1947–1987). Until now, this index has been available only in print.

The volume includes seven indexes:

  • author
  • books reviewed
  • comments and notes
  • editorials
  • photographs
  • subjects
  • titles
