We hosted many conferences during the Fall 2023 semester, covering topics including the history of French in Fredericton by Maurice Basque, hybrid languages and their comparison to Chiac in New Brunswick by Dr. Don Duncan, Francophone immigration with Dr. Leyla Sall, and we even celebrated our official inauguration. During the Winter 2024 semester, we had an assortment of writing workshops, film nights, conferences, and guest speakers. Some highlights include a glimpse into Norelice Mboutou's exposition called Black HAIRitage, a talk-show with BAIE, ecofeminism and French writing with Gabrielle Filteau-Chiba, and a conversation with former Lieutenant Governer Herménégilde Chiasson.
