Career Development & Employment Services (CDES) offers advising and valuable career and employment resources to students and recent graduates of the Fredericton and Saint John campuses.
As students progress through their academic studies, CDES helps students identify and articulate their unique skills and competencies to become and remain employable. Employment programs like Work-Study allow students to explore and develop career interests while connecting their experience to their degree programs.
As part of its mission to empower students in their career development journeys, CDES provides comprehensive career assessments, guidance in understanding the labour market, resume and cover letter reviews, interview preparation support, and ongoing, tailored career development education.
Developing student careers requires employer engagement, and CDES' commitment to building relationships with employers allows us to facilitate important networking opportunities, such as employer information sessions in diverse professional fields, career fairs, and other events.
