About QUEST

QUEST aims to build qualitative health research capacity in NB and represents a wide range of research expertise, disciplines, and organizations.

Membership currently represents:

• a broad range of qualitative research expertise
• various disciplines (nursing, business, sociology, medicine)
• a mix of academic, health care and non-profit organizations

Our objectives

• share expertise across disciplines, sectors and qualitative traditions
• provide a forum to explore philosophical perspectives, methodology and proposals
• promote opportunities for networking and interdisciplinary work
• share resources (references, transcription services)
• support scholastic and professional growth of undergraduate students, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows (vetting research proposals or providing mock defences)

Our format

QUEST meets monthly (except July and August) via Zoom to discuss topics in qualitative research (e.g. ethics, funding, collaboration opportunities), methodological approaches to research and other emerging issues in the development of knowledge.
