All new students starting their studies in Winter 2025 are warmly invited to join our Winter Welcome Orientation.
We hope that you will join the events that we are planning to help you get a good start to your studies at UNB.
Our Winter Welcome Week is a fun filled week of events, activities and informative sessions to help you make friends, have fun and learn about all the incredible things UNB has in store for you.
Whether you are international or domestic; high-school entrant, transfer or mature student, if it is your first term at UNB Saint John then you are invited to participate in events. Make the most out of your time here at UNB and make sure to attend all the events planned that week.
Our goal is to make you feel welcome, as well as prepared for the upcoming term.
We are very pleased to invite you to our Services for Students Expo on Thursday, Jan. 9 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Hans W. Klohn Commons main level. Lunch and treats provided compliments of Student Affairs & Services.
Drop by and say hello and let us introduce you to our key support people in Student Affairs and Services and other UNB departments. You can sign up for clubs & societies, campus recreation and athletics teams, and meet your SRC (Student Representative Council).
The Registrar’s Office will also be on hand to assist with any questions you may have. Be sure to visit our tables to enter to win some pretty cool prizes. We can’t wait to meet you!
The Student Representative Council (also known as SRC) is your student union that represents all undergraduate UNB Saint John students. They have so many fun activities planned, not only for orientation but all year round! The best way to stay informed with your SRC is on Facebook & Instagram.
UNB Saint John offers so many interesting and diverse courses for you to take, so how will you choose? Our academic advisors will be accessible at specific times to help you understand the course requirements for your degree and will aid in the selection of your fall and winter term courses.
These sessions will focus on students who have yet to register for their courses or those who want to ensure they are on their best path towards graduating.
Our campus store, on the main floor of the G. Forbes Elliot Athletic Centre, Room 112 is your one stop shop for textbooks, school supplies and UNB merchandise to show off your UNB pride! Can’t wait for orientation? Start shopping for UNB clothing and accessories.
Before your arrival to campus for orientation welcome week it is very important you have claimed your IT services. Activate Your IT Services now. If you require assistance with your username or password or have questions for our IT service desk team, contact the IT Help Desk.
