Customize your MBA
The Faculty of Business’s MBA in General Management — one of five MBA specializations — is not a one-size-fits-all education. You’ll graduate from the University of New Brunswick fully equipped to pursue your own objectives. Instead of concentrating in one area of study, you have the opportunity to tailor your education to your goals – taking electives in international business, entrepreneurship and technology management, business development and professional sales. You may also take General Management with International Business and compete to do a business consulting project instead of going on study abroad.
Once you’ve completed four study modules, you’ll take what you’ve learned and apply it in the real-world by developing a business plan for a client or working on a consulting project for a local firm.
Research
Our full-time students have the option to explore challenges in business through research. After completing 11 foundation courses, you can expand your expertise or pursue a theory by digging into research in your area of interest. You’ll complete a thesis under the guidance of our expert faculty.
