The Department of Humanities and Languages is a small, tight-knit academic community that nurtures and inspires students through vigorous debate and hands-on teaching.
The humanities study the human experience. How have we shaped the world? What makes us human? Philosophy asks questions that nobody dares to ask: What is it to live? What's the nature of reality? What makes us human? And literature is a bridge to the past, showing us how we have understood and interacted with our world.
In whatever program you choose, you will study a variety of subjects and learn about ideas and beliefs that have guided human beings and shaped civilizations for thousands of years.
