Kings County
Kings County is a rich agricultural zone stretching around the junction of the St John and Kennebecasis Rivers from Grand Bay-Westfield in the west through Rothesay and Hampton and on to Sussex in the east.
Kings County has a rich heritage of militia service dating back to the Loyalist settlements after the American Revolution. It was home to Camp Sussex used first as a militia summer training camp and later as a major Canadian Army training centre in both world wars.
