We’re proud to have students from all over Canada attend UNB.
Regardless of where you attend university in Canada, you can apply for federal and provincial government funding through your home province.
One loan application qualifies you for both federal and provincial assistance. The government pays the interest on the loan while you’re in school – you don't have to start making principle payments until six months after you graduate or stop being a full-time student.
The Repayment Assistance Plan is available for both federal and provincial student loans. Under this plan, your monthly student loan payments are based on how much you earn, how much you owe on your student loans, and on your family size.
If you're from a province other than New Brunswick, you'll need to apply for a loan through your home province's government, not the government of New Brunswick.
HigherEdPoints allows students to use anyone’s Aeroplan® Miles, TD Points and/or CIBC Aventura® Points to fund UNB fees. Find out more at HigherEdPoints.com.
Self-identified Indigenous students enrolled at UNB are eligible for certain awards. The federal and provincial governments also offer financial assistance for Indigenous students.
