Joseph Albert is a private music teacher in Rothesay, NB. He specializes in helping a wide array of students develop their intrinsic musical ability. While his studio provides sight reading development, he is most enthusiastic about improvisation and ear training.
Outside of teaching, Joseph enjoys performing at various venues from weddings to local farmer's markets. The music he will be playing for this performance will be reminiscent of his childhood jam sessions and will also meet at the intersections of classical, folk and gypsy jazz.
The Saint John String Quartet is UNB Saint John’s Musicians in Residence. As part of a program with ArtsNB, the Saint John String Quartet performs a variety of shows throughout the year, which feature a range of composers and genres.
Hannah Freeze is mom of two chaotic toddlers from Sussex, New Brunswick. She has been playing as a side hustle solo artist for the past year but used to play in a duo with her partner Jake ten years ago as “Jake and Hannah.”
Life looks very different now than it did back then, but her love for playing and writing music remains the same. You can find her on social media as hannahfreezemusic.
The Lorenzo Society would like to thank our generous donors in making this concert series possible.
Dr. Xu was instrumental in cultivating a relationship with DalMedNB and UNB Saint John allowing UNB Saint John students to join Dalhousie medical students in both the Heartbeat! Choir and the ceilidh band, Ceol.
