To mark the 30th anniversary of 2SLGBTQI+ people openly serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, the Rainbow Veterans of Canada and the UNB Gregg Centre hosted an event featuring a panel that explored how this was achieved and what lies ahead, followed by a question and answer session. The film “The Fruit Machine” was screened on the Fredericton campus and livestreamed virtually.
Dr. Cindy Brown MC'ed the event, joined by Katelyn Stevia, UNB PhD candidate, who moderated the Q&A on the Fredericton campus. Dr. Joanna Everitt moderated the Q&A on the Saint John campus.
