Course Description

Explores systems used by organizations to recruit and select employees. Examines employment law, techniques to screen applicants, interviewing techniques, assessment centers, biodata, and psychological tests.

Prerequisite: ADM 2815.



Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Master's level degree in a field relevant to the topic area as well as for business disciplines having work or practice experience, or having been an actively serving member of a board of directors, or having had significant participation in professional associations or standard/policy-making bodies within the last five years. Consideration may be given to applicants possessing an undergraduate degree in combination with a relevant professional designation. Previous experience teaching in a university environment will be considered an asset.
