Frequently asked questions

  • How much will I pay in tuition and fees? - Our Tuition and Fees Calculator tool will outline estimated costs for your program.
  • How can I pay my fees? - Learn more about our payment options.
  • Do I need to pay to apply? - Yes, an application fee ($65.00 for Domestic applicants, $125.00 for International) must accompany your application in order to be considered for admission.
  • When are fees due for Graduate Students? - Fees are always due by the third Wednesday of the term, with the specific date specified in the official Calendar of Academic Dates.
  • Will I get a statement confirming my fees? - Statements are not mailed, as a student always has access to their web statement to view their charges and payments. To access your statement, go to your student sharepoint and scroll down the page. You will see a column on the right of the screen called Tuition and Fees under that column you will see "Tuition & Fee Statement". This is where you access your statement. 
  • Will I need to pay a tuition deposit?- Some programs require a tuition deposit to hold a seat in the program. Information regarding the tuition deposit will be communicated in the acceptance letter.
  • Do I have to pay my full year tuition and fees up front? - Fees are billed to your account by term and you are only required to pay for the term you are billed for, however you are able to pay in advance for future terms.

Scholarships

Our students, both current and future, have access to a number of internal and external awards. Some awards require an application from the student, while for others the students are considered automatically without an application.

Our Tri-Council application process occurs each fall, with workshops and application guides available to students interested to apply.

Earn while studying

Our graduate students have access to job opportunities, including teaching and research assistantships while registered as a graduate student.
