Are you questioning the route you planned at the start of the year or have no idea which way to go? We will provide you with the resources to assist with your major considerations.
Pre-registration in courses for the next year normally starts right after the march study week.
We will provide you with opportunities to research your options, decide on a BSc program and get academic advising and course planning from the appropriate Department Undergraduate Advisor.
Each department will host an open house to highlight their programs and provide academic advising in late January and early February.
Attend the open house for your departments and programs of choice: you can attend more than one to help with your choice!
We will announce these on in our sharepoint, digital boards, social media, and outside the Science Library and in your UNB email notices and reminders.
Contact Angela Regier to book an appointment with the associate or assistant deans if you still feel confused or apprehensive after these sessions.
In your second year, you will have a whole new set of courses and a new academic advisor, available throughout the year to assist you with your academic goals and program.
Once you’ve made your major decision, you will need to set up a meeting with the advisor for that major or interdepartmental program.
To schedule appointments for academic advising and major declaration, contact the advisors directly by email. For students majoring in biology schedule an appointment with the advisor appropriate to your last name.
