Your funding as a graduate student comes from three sources:
Graduate Academic Award (GAA), paid from the supervisor's research grants

The William S. Lewis Doctoral Fellowship
The Lewis Fellowship is awarded alternately to graduate students in SSHRC and NSERC (science and engineering) disciplines. The fellowship is normally help for four years and is valued at $25,000.
The nomination must be submitted to the School of Graduate Studies by Feb. 1 and must include:
any essay, poster, conference paper, or other piece of documentation that the nominator may wish to include as evidence of the qualities of the candidate
