Step 1: Admission requirements
Review the Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies admissions requirements before applying.
Step 2: Additional documents
Please provide the following to complete your application:
- Official transcript marks from high school and other educational institution(s) you have previously attended should be sent to the UNB Registrar’s office.
- Include your CV/resume: please specify any educational, extracurricular, volunteer, work, and other relevant experiences, achievements, and awards.
- Provide a cover letter to supplement your resume. We ask you to include responses to the following questions:
- Tell us about yourself.
- Why do you want to come to Renaissance College?
- How will the program fit with your future life and career goals?
- What will you bring to the program and to your fellow students?
Optional submissions:
- Barriers to opportunities: For those who feel like they have been limited to employment, volunteer, and/or leadership opportunities, please specify your experiences in the same document as your cover letter. Word limit 250.
- Academic explanation: Do you feel your grades are not an accurate assessment in reflecting your overall ability? Please explain in the same document as your cover letter. Word limit of 250.
- Portfolio: Most of our current students choose to submit samples of schoolwork, art, writing, music, etc. Provide any documentation if you would like to showcase your work.
Please note that your application will be assessed by a committee and accepts students based on:
- strength of writing
- previous volunteer and job experiences
- community participation
- creativity
- and previous leadership experiences
