
This accelerated program at the University of New Brunswick's Moncton site is tailored for students who already possess at least 46 undergraduate degree credits.
Applications to the Bachelor of Nursing Accelerated Program are due earlier than those for other programs.
The application deadline is Nov. 15 every year for intake the following September.
To apply to UNB’s Bachelor of Nursing Accelerated Program, applicants must meet the following academic and prerequisite requirements:
Minimum high school course grades: Applicants must have a minimum grade of 70% in each of the following Grade 12 high school courses (or equivalent), with an overall average of 75% on the four:
University-level credits: A minimum of 46 university-level credit hours is required, with an admission average GPA of 3.0 (B or 70%) or higher.
The admission average will be calculated based on the most recent 46 credits for students who have completed more.
These courses can be taken online through UNB's Centre for Learning Futures or equivalents approved by UNB. A minimum grade of C or equivalent is required in each course, with a combined minimum GPA of 3.0 (B or 70%).
Applicants are not required to have completed all prerequisite courses before submitting an application but must successfully complete them by July 31 for the September intake.
As the language of instruction is English, applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency through one of the following methods:
The Faculty of Nursing reserves the right to request additional proof of language proficiency before granting permission to register for academic courses.

After submitting your application, you will receive an automatic confirmation email including your UNB application number. Save that email for future reference.
Ensure that all components of your application have been received as only complete applications are forwarded to Nursing for review.
Offers of acceptance will be sent after the application deadline. If you receive an offer, confirm your acceptance by paying a $250 fee within two weeks of receiving your acceptance letter.
Once your offer has been confirmed you will begin receiving communications from our Moncton office to assist you in preparing for the program start in the fall.
Note: International students should be aware that additional fees and a Permit to Attend Letter (PAL) are required.
