UNB Climbing Wall Lady Beaverbrook Gym

The indoor climbing wall is located in the basement of the LB Gym. It is a bouldering-dedicated gym, which means the climbers are protected by large pads rather than ropes and has mixed terrain from vertical to extremely overhanging with a variety of interesting features.

Rent the climbing wall by the hour for exercise with friends, classmates, or colleagues or host a birthday party.

With a REDS Recreation base, combined, or student membership; members can enjoy the REDS Recreation Open Climb hours throughout the week.

The UNB Rock & Ice Club holds climbing sessions year-round, including special times for beginners, families and ladies only.

  • A REDS Recreation membership is required to access the climbing club. "Sport Club Memberships" are available for those wishing to use the Climbing Wall only. Visit the REDS Recreation Information Desk at the Currie Center to register.

  • With a REDS Recreation membership, climbers can access the UNB Rock & Ice Club hours by paying a drop-in fee or purchasing the annual club membership for $75. Visit UNB Rock & Ice Club for more information.
