Students typically apply for the internship program near the completion of two years of full-time study (or 60 ch) but can also apply in third, fourth, or above, years. Students must be in good academic standing to be accepted into the program. For questions about the program or application process, contact artsinternship@unb.ca.
Visit Experience UNB to apply to one of our internship courses.
If you are deemed eligible for the program, you will be able to book an interview session with the faculty internship coordinator.
The interview session will determine your admission into the program in general and will also help to narrow down which placements may be a good fit for you.
Some placement options may be more competitive than others, so be ready to prepare updated resumes and cover letters for your placements and participate in interviews with partners.
We try to match students with placements that are relevant to their degree programs and that relate to their previous work experience and future career goals.
If you are selected for admission into the program, the internship coordinator will provide instructions on how to register for the appropriate course (ARTS 3000; 3001; 3002; or ARTS 4000).
For more information about the program, contact the Faculty of Arts internship coordinator.
