Our undergraduate program offers courses in literature, creative writing, drama and film.

Students have opportunities to make films, participate in dramatic productions and publish in journals such as QWERTY or the Journal of Student Writing.
Students interested in a future career in publishing can complete the Certificate in Publishing to learn relevant skills and gain hands-on experience working with a book publisher, journal or magazine.
Students can also join the Albert Ross Undergraduate English Society, the English department's undergraduate club, which hosts events and activities throughout the year.
