The UNB drama program is housed in Memorial Hall, a heritage building completed in 1923 that also houses UNB’s music program and the UNB Art Centre. Productions are staged in the building’s high-ceilinged auditorium, which features magnificent woodwork and stained-glass windows.
The theatre can sit from 100 to 150 depending on configuration. Productions can be performed in proscenium, thrust or in the round staging, with risers allowing for movable raked seating on the floor. The theatre boasts pristine acoustics and is well equipped technically.
The building also houses a fully equipped carpentry shop for set construction, a sound design lab, rehearsal space and green room and dressing room spaces.
