This a central repository for all finance-related reports and publications from the University of New Brunswick. It is jointly maintained by Financial Services, the vice-president (finance) office, and Resource Planning and Budgeting.
Annual operating statements show the year end results compared to the planned operating budget. Financial activities outside of the operating fund, such as sponsored research, trust and endowments, grants for capital projects and other restricted funding are excluded from this report.
Consolidated financial statements report on the operations and financial position of the entire University, including the operating fund, restricted fund, and trust and endowment.
The annual Comptroller's report provides an overview and comments on the consolidated operations of the university. This includes analysis of major changes on the consolidated statement of financial position and statement of operations as well as commentary on the deferred maintenance and internally restricted net assets.
The report on long-term investment fund includes a report on fund performance, an overview of key governance arrangements for the fund, highlights of board-approved investment and endowment spending policies, and an overview of key activities carried out by the investments committee during the year.
The risk management report provides an overview of risk management at UNB, including highlights from the past year, updates on key risk management activities, and proposed goals and objectives for the following year.
The University of New Brunswick operating budget shows the planned annual revenue and expenditures within the University’s operating fund. The operating budget excludes items that are not available for general operating purposes such as sponsored research, trust and endowments, grants for capital projects and other restricted funding.
