UNB Saint John’s master of business administration program provides students with competitive advantages that prepare them for success in the global marketplace.
Whether they choose the speed of completing their degree in one year or the flexibility of part-time studies, students learn to think creatively and practically apply their skills through experiential learning opportunities, including networking events, consultancy opportunities and study abroad programs.
A partnership with the Burgundy School of Business (BSB) in Dijon, France offers expanded academic offerings, an internship in France and two degrees for the price of one.
Prince Attakora-Ofori is the first graduate of this unique dual-degree program, earning a master of business administration in international business from UNB Saint John and a master of science in finance from the Burgundy School of Business.
“In a fierce job market, like the one we have in North America, the dual-degree program equips you with the skills you need,” says Mr. Attakora-Ofori.
Students are able to reap the benefits of this program without paying extra fees thanks to the support of UNB’s Global Learning and Engagement team.
“We encourage our MBA students to take advantage of our study abroad program with our international partners like the Burgundy School of Business,” says Fazley Siddiq, dean of business at UNB Saint John. “The exposure to another culture and business environment provides an invaluable advantage upon graduation.”
In Saint John, master of business administration students have the opportunity to specialize in general management, entrepreneurship and technology management, international business or project management. Small class sizes provide the kind of supportive environment where students and faculty are on a first-name basis.
With the help and expertise of dedicated faculty and staff, students find their true potential. The mix of classroom learning, practical applications and real-world experience prepare students for the future, whether it be a corporate internship or an entrepreneurial start-up venture.
