The UNB Associated Alumni has a rich and proud tradition of keeping UNB alumni connected with each other and with the university through its reunion activities.

Come back to the Fredericton campus June 12-15, 2025 to reconnect and reminisce with former classmates. The weekend will be filled with events and celebrations that will bring you back to ‘the good old days’ at UNB, including our beloved lobster boil and senior classes’ dinner.

Schedule of Events

Thursday, June 12

  • All Classes Meet and Greet: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
    • Meet up with classmates, fellow alumni and friends at this casual event while enjoying some finger foods and a cash bar. This is the perfect way to start reconnecting with classmates.
    • Location: Student Union Building, Atrium
    • Cost: Free

Friday, June 13

Red and Black Day - wear your red and black with pride!
  • Class of 1975 Golden Grad Breakfast: 9 - 10:30 a.m.
    • Fine early morning dining with fine friends. Meet UNB president Paul Mazerolle and enjoy the Golden Grad buffet breakfast.
      • (This breakfast is only open to 1975 graduates and their guests.)
    • Location: Student Union Building, Ballroom 
    • Cost: Free
  • Classes of 1975 and 2000 Pin Ceremony and BBQ: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    • Special Pin Ceremony for alumni celebrating their 50th and 25th year reunions.
    • Location: Student Union Building, Cafeteria
    • Cost: Free
  • Faculty Open Houses: 1 - 3 p.m.
    • Interested to see how your faculty has evolved since your time at UNB? Be sure to take part in our faculty open houses to walk the halls of your former buildings, meet faculty and staff, explore what's new, and connect with your faculty dean.
    • Location: various faculty buildings
    • Cost: Free
  • UNB at Picaroons Roundhouse: 3 p.m. on into the evening
    • Looking for a place to spend your Friday afternoon with friends and fellow UNBers? Check out one of Fredericton’s popular craft breweries! Drop by the UNB alumni-owned Picaroons Roundhouse beginning at 3 p.m. to unwind and socialize in a casual setting, while enjoying views of the Saint John River. The brewery will be open to the public, so seating is first come first served. The first 100 UNB alumni registrants will receive a complimentary drink ticket and will be entered to win some exciting UNB prize packs!
    • Location: Picaroons Roundhouse, 912 Union Street
    • Cost: Free
  • Class of 1975 AND EARLIER Senior Classes Dinner: 6 - 9 p.m.
    • An opportunity to dine and share your favourite memories of UNB with alumni from the Classes of 1975 and earlier. This evening is all about UNB memories and reminiscing as we share a great meal and some great stories.
    • Location: Richard J CURRIE CENTER, 4th Floor
    • Cost: TBD

Saturday, June 14

  • UNB at Boyce Farmers' Market: 9 - 11 a.m.
    • Revisit a Saturday tradition. Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is the city’s traditional Saturday morning gathering spot downtown for fresh and healthy foods, craft, creativity and conversation.
    • Location: Boyce Farmers' Market
    • Cost: pay as you go
  • Reception before Maritime Lobster Boil: 6 - 7 p.m.
    • Mingle with fellow alumni and friends before sitting down to a traditional Maritime meal.
    • Location: Richard J. CURRIE CENTER, Performance Gym
    • No cost for reception only
  • Maritime Lobster Boil: 7 - 10:30 p.m.
    • Enjoy an excellent Maritime tradition. You do not want to miss this night. The dinner will be followed by an opportunity to kick up your heels to tunes by Spotlight Entertainment, who will happily take requests! This event is all about UNB pride – so wear your red and black!

Sunday, June 15

  • Farewell Breakfast: 9 - 10:30 a.m.
    • Join your classmates one last time to bid adieu and see what’s it’s like to dine as a student at meal hall.
