Once you’ve decided on your program, use our admission requirements tool to ensure you meet the requirements.
3. Create a UNB application account and complete an application
Creating a UNB application account is the first step in completing your application. Your application account allows you to log-in at any time and gives you the opportunity to start, save and submit your application. You can also update your personal information and sign up for UNB events.
As part of the application process you will need to:
A. Confirm your application deadline
- The application deadline for most undergraduate programs is March 31. Please review our important dates and deadlines to confirm the application deadline for your program. Late applications will be considered based on available program space.
B. Submit your required documents
- After you’ve submitted your application, we will quickly notify you about which documents are required and how to submit them. The deadline to submit your supporting documents is March 31* (unless otherwise specified).
- *Dec. 15 – Education (FR); Feb. 15 – Health Sciences (SJ), Nursing (SJ), Nursing (FR)
- Applicants for Renaissance College will not be reviewed prior to the Feb. 15 deadline. Applications will still be reviewed after this deadline provided there is still space available
- Education, Kinesiology and Nursing (Fredericton and Moncton) may require supplementary information. Applying to Renaissance College also requires additional documents. If additional documents are required in order to assess your application for admission, you will be notified.
- Transcripts must be official and come directly from the sending institution (electronically or by mail).
- The University of New Brunswick is a MyCreds receiving institution. Students who are requesting a copy on their post-secondary transcript through MyCreds should opt to share it through the option, "Send my documents to a registered organization" rather than via email. UNB is unable to receive MyCreds transcripts via email.
C. Pay the application fee: $65
We're offering an application fee waiver for Canadian high school students who attend any of our recruitment events between Sept. 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025.
Your application will be forwarded to the Admissions Office after the non-refundable application fee has been processed. You will receive a receipt of payment and confirmation that your application was received by email. Keep these for future reference. Log in to your application account at any time to review the status of your application.
