A capstone course designed to prepare students to pursue the Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Students will further develop financial reporting, management accounting, tax, and audit competencies from prerequisite courses. Using the CPA Way methodology, students will learn to research, structure, and develop comprehensive responses to simulation cases. By the end of the course, students should be able to apply current Canadian accounting standards to a variety of situations. Co-requisite: ECON 3205 and ECON 4275. |
