Construction of temporary works and construction methods. Includes excavations, trenches, stabilization, sheet piling, cofferdams, formwork, falsework, scaffolding, failure and accident statistics, costs and liability. Emphasis on application of the NB Occupational Health and Safety Commission Act and Regulations to construction. Restricted to students with at least 110 ch completed. Credit will not be given for both this course and CE3983.
