From academics to student life to money matters, we're here to help. We can't wait to see what you'll do.
It's really easy to find your way around our campus whether you're walking above ground or in our underground tunnels.
If you're an international student with questions about travelling to Canada or campus life, let us know how we can help.
UNB Saint John welcomes students transferring from other post-secondary institutions and those mature students who are deciding to attend university for the first time.
Advising and registration for our first-year students typically begins in late May. For local students, the campus hosts a Spring Orientation, Advising, and Registration event that helps first year students at UNB Saint John pick the right courses so they can start the fall semester ready to learn and succeed.
For those who cannot come to campus, we encourage you to reach out to your academic advisor after the S.O.A.R. event.
Orientation week eases the transition to university and promotes relationship building among peers and the campus community. Orientation week will begin the first week of September. For details on parking, tuition, lockers, food services or anything else, see Student Life or Money Matters.
Students with documented visible, invisible, and temporary disabilities may register with the Student Accessibility Centre. UNB Saint John provides services for students who require accommodations in class, during tests and exams, and around campus.
At UNB Saint John we offer two courses specifically designed to help new students get the most out of their first year. These courses will teach you the skills and tools you need to excel over the next few years. Both can be found in the course timetable.
For more information on whether these courses – UNIV 1003 or Learning Communities – are right for you, please contact your academic advisor.
Whether you're the parent of a current UNB Saint John student or a prospective student, we have the information you need.
