Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA)

This articulated degree program offers a unique combination of academic and practical study. It is a four-year degree program that offers the advanced reasoning, research and writing skills of a traditional liberal arts education at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) along with the hands-on experience of studio art and design courses offered by the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD), one of Canada's most respected fine craft and design schools.

Moving from NBCCD to UNB

At UNB there are a variety of courses to choose from. Your academic advisor at UNB will help you make appropriate choices for the route you wish to take.

When you have completed your second year at NBCCD you must inform both institutions that you will be registering at UNB by March 31 for the September intake.

However, as March tends to be exceptionally busy, UNB advises that you contact them at the end of January so that you can be put in touch with an academic advisor to assist with your course selections.
