President's reflections

I am pleased and excited to share with you this annual progress report on our university’s strategic vision. This report is a true testament to the hard work, dedication and collaboration that define us as a community.

When this vision was embraced by our community four years ago, it came with a call to be bold and courageous. It was a call to step bravely into our future and become the university our province and our world need us to be. As we reflect on the past year, we find ourselves firmly down that trajectory.

UNB is New Brunswick’s research engine. Over the past year, we have continued to increase our research performance and mobilize this knowledge to transform communities. We continue to develop areas of research strength to respond to grand societal challenges in energy, health, water and security.
