What if every student and alumni from the University of New Brunswick (UNB) had five to fifteen new connections to learn, share and grow from? Introducing UNB’s Career Café on Ten Thousand Coffees. An online tool that matches UNB students (or recent grads) with a network of UNB alumni connections.
Having a diverse network:
- accelerates careers
- helps tap into the smart thinking of peers locally and globally
- is a powerful contribution to the UNB community
Commit to an hour every one to three months to meet someone new from UNB, and create an opportunity to learn, share and answer questions.
How it works
The easiest and quickest way to gain access is to sign-up using your UNB email address. If you choose to use a different email, you will be placed into an approval queue where you will be reviewed by school administrators.
Once you join, all introductions are sent directly to your inbox, so you don’t need to use another tool.
Current UNB students and recent grads can search the UNB Career Café using customized filters to find UNB alumni who have pursued careers they are curious about. They can then connect for a conversation over coffee or arrange to speak to them online or by phone.
Once a month you will receive automatic introductions that connect students or recent grads with alumni based on your career interests and goals.
